Hallidie Plaza
San Francisco's Market Street is one of the city's main arterials, yet at present the design and programming along the street stifles urban life rather than cultivating it. For a studio class, I had two weeks to come up with a design/programming proposal for one section of the street. I chose to do Hallidie Plaza, redesigning it with a focus on pedestrian and bike activity, native landscaping, and activated facades. I used sketchup and photoshop to render the design, seen below.
